Virtual care

The same unhurried care, wherever you are in Illinois.

Not every visit needs an exam room.
Good Energy offers hybrid care for clients across the state, with the same amount of time, attention, and follow-through you'd get in Batavia.

When virtual care works well

Visits centered on conversation, history, and ongoing management rather than a physical exam:

Perimenopause and menopause consultations and follow-ups
PMDD evaluation and treatment management
Contraception counseling
Preconception and fertility planning conversations
PCOS management and follow-up care
All options pregnancy counseling
Sexual wellness consultations
Medication management and refills (existing clients)
Reviewing lab results and adjusting a treatment plan

What still requires an in-person visit

Some care can only happen in person: Pap smears, physical and pelvic exams, IUD and Nexplanon insertion or removal, endometrial biopsies, and any visit where a hands-on exam is part of getting you the right answer.

If we start a conversation virtually and it turns out you need to be seen in person, we'll help you get scheduled in Batavia if you're close by, or provide a referral to a GYN provider closer to home.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Visiting Batavia

Is there parking?

Yes. Parking is available directly outside the building at no cost.

Is the office accessible?

Yes. There are no stairs or elevators needed to access the building. Our exam room is small, so strollers may need to be left in the waiting area.

Do I check in with Generations Chiropractic or with Good Energy?

No need to check in. Our providers will greet you in the waiting room at the time of your appointment.

What else is around this area?

Downtown Batavia has some of the best tacos (El Sazón), best ice cream (Batavia Creamery), and best coffee (Limestone) in the Fox Valley — all within a few steps of Good Energy Women's Health.

Virtual care

Is virtual care available anywhere in Illinois?

Yes. Virtual visits are available to clients located anywhere in the state of Illinois.

Do virtual visits cost the same as in-person visits?

Yes. Pricing is the same for virtual and in-person visits of the same type. See our Cost of Care page for full pricing.

What do I need for a virtual visit?

A private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone or computer with a camera. We'll send a secure link ahead of your appointment.

Can I get prescriptions through a virtual visit?

Yes. We can prescribe medication during a virtual visit when appropriate, and send it to your pharmacy of choice. Some prescriptions, like testosterone, require an initial in-person visit with the prescribing provider due to federal law, with more frequent virtual follow-ups available for ongoing management after that.

What if I need labs done for a virtual visit?

We can order labs to be drawn at a local lab near you, then review the results together at a follow-up virtual or in-person visit.

I'm not sure if my concern needs an in-person visit. What should I do?

When you're not sure, an in-person visit is usually the better place to start. It gives us the chance to do a physical exam if needed, order labs on the spot, and get you real answers in a single appointment instead of needing a second visit later. If you'd still prefer to start virtually, book that instead and let us know what's going on. We'll tell you honestly if an in-person visit or exam is needed, and help you get scheduled.

We're glad you found us.
