Integrative Gynecology

Gynecologic care that actually addresses what you came in for.

At Good Energy Women's Health, gynecology means comprehensive, compassionate care across the full spectrum of women's health, with enough time to get it right. You won't be rushed through an exam or sent out the door with concerns still half-answered.

Why time matters

A 10-minute appointment can't address a 10-year concern.

Gynecologic concerns are often the ones you feel least comfortable raising, and most likely to have dismissed when you do. Pelvic pain that's been written off as normal. Periods that have changed and no one can explain why. Questions about STIs, contraception, or sexual health that felt rushed or minimized in a standard visit.

You deserve a provider who takes you seriously, who asks the questions that matter, and partners with you to find answers.

What you won't hear at Good Energy
"That's just normal for women."
"Take birth control."
"Everything looks fine."

FAQ

Your questions, answered

What's included in an annual wellness exam at Good Energy?

More than the standard. In addition to a physical exam and Pap smear when indicated, we review your full health history, discuss any concerns you've been putting off, and look at labs and screenings appropriate for your age and risk profile. No surprise charges if you have additional concerns to discuss.

Do you see adolescent clients?

Yes. We provide gynecologic care for clients starting at age 15, including first GYN visits, period concerns, contraception, and STI education, in a trauma-informed environment where young clients are treated with respect and privacy. Gynecology care doesn't automatically mean needing pelvic exams. We only perform pelvic exams when medically indicated and with explict consent.

Do you place IUDs and implants in-office?

Yes. We offer in-office placement and removal of IUDs and contraceptive implants, with pain management included in every procedure.

I've had abnormal Pap results before. Can you help me understand what that means?

Yes. Abnormal Pap results are common and often not cause for alarm, but they deserve a clear explanation and appropriate follow-up. We'll review your history, explain what the results mean, discuss ways to support your body in suppressing HPV if needed, and coordinate next steps including colposcopy referral if indicated.

Can I come in for a GYN concern without a full annual exam?

Yes. If you have a specific concern such as pelvic pain, cycle changes, a new symptom, or something that's been bothering you, you don't need to wait for your annual visit.

I've had difficult experiences with GYN exams in the past. What should I know?

We practice with a trauma-informed approach at every visit, meaning we move at your pace, explain everything before we do it, and you are always in control of what happens in the room. If you've had experiences that make GYN care feel difficult or unsafe, please tell us. We will adjust and accommodate your needs.

Evidence-Based. Deeply Personal. Finally.
